Well vacation is over and it’s Monday and time to get back to work. I can’t believe how fast those 9 days went!! Talk about time flies when you are having fun. The kids are back and Olivia is thrilled to have her playmates around. I, on the other hand, have my work cut out for me getting everyone back into routine. Oh well only 4 months until my next vacation. LOL
I went for my blood test this morning for Lyme disease. I’m pretty sure it will come back positive but I don’t really know what that means from there. My energy level has improved dramatically but I now have a lot of pain and swelling in my knees and ankles. I have decided that it’s time to do something about the extra 50 pounds I put on back when I started having kids 8 years ago. Yes you heard it here first. LOL I am making some lifestyle changes
It makes sense that taking off the excess weight will help ease the pain in my joints. My doctor has also advised me that lifting weights and increasing bone density will help as well. He also says that the more strength I have in my muscles the less strain I will put on my knees and ankles. Seems worth it to me. Well I guess now I have to buy a scale. LOL I haven’t owned one for 3 years. Wonder why?
Time to go get some scheduling done.
Until next time…

I’m sure the time flew for you- it’s flying for me and I have 2 months off! I go back in a little over 2 weeks.
We really don’t have a Lyme Disease problem in Southern California yet which is a good thing because our dogs always get ticks on their hikes. Good luck to you on your weight loss plan. Chasing after all those kids is good exercise!
hey sweetie the lyme disease really bites! it is so common around here, but luckily i havent heard of any cases of rocky mtn. spotted fever *yet*
good luck with the weight loss hon! i got a scale the other day against my better judgment and now im trying to get started on losing weight too, i just like food too much lately tho lol

Finally getting caught up with everyone! I *adore* those pictures of Elizabeth and would love to kiss those cheeks of hers. (((hugs)))
I remember many years ago a woman I worked with had lyme disease, but I don’t remember specifics. Hang in there and keep us posted what you find out.
