Below Zero

Well I woke up to a blistering -4 degrees F at 5am this morning. Now why would I want to get out of bed that early when it’s that cold???? I don’t know but I made it anyway :) Today is the kind of day we normally have in March with snow on the ground, wind blowing, sun shining bright and frigidly cold temperatures. Hard to believe that it was 70 last week. I guess winter really is here now.

Luckily the kids got to play out in the snow yesterday. We woke up to a couple of inches on the ground and everyone showed up with their snowsuits and boots and could not wait to go outside. They were out in it for almost 1/2 an hour when I made them come in. If you can try and picture 5 - 3 year olds saying “Ohhhhh” with their heads hanging and dragging their feet into the house. They perked right up when I gave them all some hot chocolate though. Does the trick every time.

    Your Christmas decor is really cute! I’ll bet that was cute to watch the little ones all bundled up in their snowsuits! :) I’ve never experienced temps that low! Brrrr! I’d want hot chocolate, too!
