Day of Rememberance

I can’t believe it’s been 3 years. I will never forget that day as long as I live. I was pregnant with my daughter Elizabeth and was doing a preschool lesson with the children when the phone rang. It was my husband telling me to turn on the TV, a plane had just crashed into the World Trade Center. By the time I turned the TV on the second plane had crashed. It was the most horrifying sight I’ve ever seen. Today this post is in rememberance of all of the innocent people that lost their lives in the name of terrorism.
Give your family members an extra squeeze and think carefully about the power of your vote in November.

Me neither. That was my 30th birthday.

Peace to you and your family. Yesterday I posted my memory of the day ~ similar to yours, at home, watching the TV. Last night my 11-year-old wrote her thoughts, I posted it this morning, stop over if you get a chance and read her essay.
