Decorum According to a 4 Year Old

We were eating dinner Saturday night when Elizabeth made the following statement quite matter-of-factly out of the blue:

When I’m sitting at the table next to my boyfriend and I have to fart - I should go in the bathroom first.

I don’t know how I manged to keep from spitting out my soda.

    Yes Amy, he’s an older man ;) 5 years old and starting school in September. LOL

    HA! Though I tend to think if you are sitting at the table next to ANYONE and you have to fart, you might want to go to the bathroom first.
