Well now that all the season finales are over you would think I had more time on my hands right? Wrong! I still cannot get anything done or so it seems. I just thought it was because of the TV I was watching at night but there was absolutely nothing on whatsoever last night and yet I still didn’t get much done. Don’t you just hate that feeling?

Part of what had me distracted though was hubby brought me something when he got home last night - the laptop and it works! Turns out there is a button on the battery that just needed to be reset, super simple, and it is good to go. It is a Dell and has a big 15″ monitor and it just flies. The graphics and sound are awesome and he even brought me home a wireless network card so we can hook it right up to the other computers and still just use the one cable modem. Talk about getting on my good side. LOL I am such a computer geek. My son is just as bad, 7 years old and when he saw the computer he says, “OOH a laptop. Can I go on it?” LOL That’s my boy!

I am so glad it’s Friday and that we have a long weekend. I could so use the time. The weather here in New England is supposed to be crappy all 3 days but I don’t even care. I really just want to hang out and do nothing for 3 days. We do have a few things planned but nothing major. We are going to my Mother in Law’s house for a BBQ that may end up being indoors and that should be a joy. She has been a very difficult woman the last 12 years but recently she has been trying to be better. We figure our children deserve to get to know their grandmother and make their own decisions about her when they are old enough. Should be interesting.

Well I have a ton of work to do with my other job so I’d better get going on it.
