Yes, it is my birthday today. I am 33 years old. I know I’m not supposed to reveal my age but what the heck. I have had a pretty laid back and relaxed kind of day which is just what I want. Jeff and the kids have gone to do the grocery shopping for me so that I can hang out and relax. That’s my kind of present. LOL

The other day when my mother-in-law dropped Nick off she mentioned Jeff’s brother being upset about us not coming down. I mentioned to her how I had made tentative plans and I had also invited them up to meet Lauren and not only did they not come but then they didn’t tell us they were visiting her either. Well she went home and told Jeff’s brother and guess what? SIL never told her husband that we were coming in August or that I had invited her up. She let him get all worked up and pissed off without even knowing the truth. What a witch huh? Well I got a real apologetic email last night saying she hoped we could still come down and that she would come up with her husband when he goes fishing, blah, blah, blah. Suddenly the truth has come out and everything is supposed to be okay? If this was my side of the family and not Jeff’s I would tell her to go take a flying leap in a heartbeat but I don’t want to be responsible for Jeff and his brother not seeing each other. She can have that honor all to herself.

Well time for my birthday dinner. We’re having Jeff’s famous Sweet and Sour Chicken with Pork Fried Rice for dinner. *YUM*
