I’m Back

I am back from the land of the missing for the moment :) I’m sorry I have been MIA for over a week but all of my children and my husband have been sick with the flu and I have been giving it the good fight and have eluded the worst of it so far.

Jeff and I were up late getting ready for Christmas on Christmas Eve and fully anticipated only getting a couple hours of sleep. We woke up at almost 8am and everyone else in the house was still asleep. We were stunned. They usually get us up at 5:30 or 6:00 at the latest. We got coffee and woke up the kids only to find them all flushed and feverish and not overly enthused about their presents and Santa having been to our house. We medicated everyone, opened some presents and the kids all went and rested for the better part of the day. It’s taken almost a week but everyone is finally on the mend.

I hope all of my online friends had a wonderful Christmas and that all of you have a very Happy New Year!!
