I’m Full Of Questions Today

:cld: I have a bunch of questions rattling around in my head today that are rather specific to my life but I will omit names to protect the not so innocent ;)


  1. Why do parents bring their infants to daycare with nothing but a diaper and a pair of pajamas on, in the middle of winter, while they themselves are wearing jeans, a turtleneck, a sweatshirt and a coat?

  2. Why do parents think that spoiling their children rotten to the core makes up for all the rotten things they put that child through?

  3. Why do parents think that talking bad about their soon to be ex-spouse around their kids doesn’t count if they don’t actually say his/her name?

  4. Why do parents bring their kids to daycare on their days off from work, so that they can go home and catch up on Jerry Springer, and then wonder why their kids would rather be with you than them?

  5. Why do people think paying daycare is an optional bill?

  6. Why is it your offspring thinks being related to you entitles them to everything of theirs as well as everything of yours?

  7. Why do certain family members seem surprised that you’re no longer surprised by a single asinine thing they do?

  8. Why do people think that whatever you are doing for them, it is the only thing you have to do in your entire miserable life?

  9. Why is it that according to your kids you get more stupid the older you get?

  10. For those of you that watch Average Joe, wouldn’t you pick the average guys over the hotties? Yeah, me either.

  11. For anyone that’s watched America’s Top Model, don’t you want to just grab one of those girls and shove a piece of cake right down their throats followed by some Doritos and wash it all down with a liter of Pepsi? Eat for god’s sake!

    And my top question:

  12. Why do family members say they’re disowning you and then call you 2 weeks later to ask if you’re avoiding them?

    #1 was always peeve of mine too.

    #4 Could never understand that one either.

    busy week here avoiding housecleaning. :)

    I’m with you on most of those Julie!! Especially 6, 7 and 8 . . they are all very legit questions lol. *hugs*
