I’m Moving to Arizona

January 9, 2004 |

This weather is ridiculous!! It is 2pm in the afternoon, the sun is shining brilliantly outside once again, and it is -10 degrees Fahrenheit outside!! Did someone forget to tell Mother Nature that this is not one of the Poles??? The woodstove is cranking, the heat is set at 70 and I never usually put it above 66, and I’m still freezing. Daycare families didn’t show up today because they couldn’t get vehicles started and the kids haven’t been able to get outside for 3 days because it’s been too cold!!! It’s insane.

I’m feeling a little overwhelmed by the clutter and mess in my house. Jeff is forever saying that our house is too small and we need to move but I know it’s just because there’s too much junk taking up too much space. I also know that I am the one that ultimately has to do something about it and I resent it. I work long hours every week in a very stressful profession and the last thing I want to do with my weekend is clean. I seem to keep finding one reason or another not to and then before I know it, it’s Sunday night and another opportunity has been lost. I don’t even know where to start.

Well guys I’m going to go sit on the woodstove for a little while and keep my eyes peeled for penguins and polar bears. Stay warm and have a wonderful day!!

Oh my gosh! That is COLD!
I know what you mean about the mess and clutter. The thing is that if you moved to a bigger house you’d probably just collect more clutter. That’s what happened here.
ACK! Have a good week anyway! Hugs!

Ooh, if you see a polar bear, take a picture for me, ok? ROFL!

In all seriousness, I don’t know how you survive all that cold weather. I would be totally insane!

Why don’t you come on over here to Missouri. It’s not very warm here either, but 40 degrees would feel like a heat wave to you. *Ü*
