It’s Over
This is going to be short because I’m in a lot more pain than I thought I would be. Doc went into my neck yesterday morning to take out the lymph node that was swollen only to discover it wasn’t a lymph node, it was a tumor and there were 3 of them. The other two are tiny and he didn’t remove them at this time because he didn’t want to cause any more physical trauma. He told my husband that he is 99% sure that it is benign as he has seen a number of tumors in his career and this does not appear cancerous. Of course only pathology can tell us for sure.
I won’t get the results for a week or so. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks for all of your well wishes and encouragement. Happy New Year!!!

keeping you in my thoughts Jules. ((hugs))

Jules,
About 7 years ago I had the exact same operation. I had to be awake during the whole procedure so that if they touched the wrong nerve I could tell them if an arm, leg, etc. had feeling in it so as not to paralyze it. Thank God everything was O.K.
Pray to the God of your choice, and I’ll be praying to mine.
MarianAll of life’s best.
