I’ve Been Tagged

7 RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME:

1. I’ve known my best friend since we were in kindergarten but wasn’t friends with her until junior high school. We only started being friends in 7th grade because there were 6 girls in the class, the other 4 paired up as friends on the first day and we were the only two left. Stuck with each other. 25 years later and we are still “stuck with each other”. And I am eternally grateful.

2. I was a cheerleader in high school and in college. I blew out my knee in my sophomore year in college - putting an end to my delusional dreams of becoming a Laker Girl. *sniff, sniff*

3. The summer between my junior and senior years of high school I was accepted to a 6 week long pre-college program at Syracuse University College of Law (the guy in the picture was my professor!). I received 3 awards for my performance in the torts section of the program as well as for my role in the mock trial we put on at the end of the 6 weeks.

4. I was the only one of my friends that was never going to get married - never going to have children. I was going to live in Chicago and be a fabulously single, successful attorney. I was the first one of my friends to get married and the first one to have a baby. *sigh*

5. I have four children - 2 of them were planned by us and we joke that the other 2 were planned by God. I was on birth control pills when I discovered I was pregnant with child #3 and I had been the lucky recipient of the Depo shot 1 month before becoming pregnant with child #4.

6. I’ve given birth 4 times but I’ve never had an epidural or pain medication. There was never time. *shudder*

7. I’ve never had a cavity in my 37 years of life.

    WOw! never a cavity, that’s impressive. I learned some stuff about you, that was pretty neat. Got any pics from when you were a cheerleader? We should dig some up and post them!

    aww what a bummer about the cheerleading - you could’ve been the next Paula Abdul :wink:

    I have a good friend like that, we meet when I was in my twenty’s - in school together and it seems 20 years later he is still a blessing and the best friend I have ever had. Wow on #3 and Jealous on # 7 - LOL at #4.
