Just Popping In To Blow The Dust Away
:sun2-ani: Yes I know it’s getting old and dusty in here. Sorry to be neglecting my blog. I came by with my feather duster in hand to swipe in some of that glorious sunshine we are finally having here in the Northeast. We have been outside quite a bit now that the warmer weather has been taunting us. I say taunting because March in VT is notorious for at least one really good snowstorm in excess of a foot of snow that will all melt within 48 hours, leading to heavy flooding and VT’s 5th season; mud season. LOL
I’ve been very busy this week trying to get ready for our trip up North for my step-daughters wedding. Did I mention that she’s getting married? And that it’s a shotgun wedding? Yes she sure knows how to make everything as dramatic as possible. *sigh* And boy has her hand been out asking for one monetary favor after another. It’s the only good thing about us being legitimately broke right now. LOL Her hand may be out but we don’t have anything for it.
She called my husband yesterday asking for our credit card number to use to hold the hall for the reception. The reception that’s on Saturday. Said some BS about they have the money but the hotel wants the cc as a guarantee. If they have the cash, then just pay for the hall and that’s all the guarantee the hotel needs. Right? Well the truth came out this morning when she called me to ask me to burn a CD for her with a few songs for the reception. Not a problem. Then she mentions that they are $150 short for wedding costs. My response? “I’m sure you guys will figure something out”
“Huh” was her response.
We’ve only met the guy once and she claims that they have been best of friends for years and only hooked up a few months ago as more than friends. She makes my head hurt. LOL In all honesty, I truly wish her the best. I hope this will make her happy and maybe she can finally find the peace and family she felt she never had. Just a couple more days and it will all be over.
Have a great day my friends!

OMG- I wonder why she is rushing into this? I am not surprised that she is asking you for money though. Nothing new for her huh? Is this guy going to be able to take care of her financially or will she still be trying to get money from you guys I wonder?
Take care!!
