Well we are supposed to get some thunderstorms today but so far they are holding off. The sky is awfully dark so I didn’t even bring the kids outside in fear of a storm starting as soon as we got out there. Poor Jeff is supposed to work outside. I guess he should have called in sick like he thought about doing.
Let me tell you about my new Shark Sweeper. It works exactly like they say it does on the infomercial. It is amazing. This morning it picked up wet and dry cereal as well as a grape, whole. At lunch it picked up a chunk of bread as well as peas, whole. Nothing mushed or anything. It’s battery operated with a rechargeable battery and one charge lasts for about 35 minutes. It works on bare floors and carpets equally as well. My floors are finally going to look decent all day long without dragging out the full size vacuum every time! YEAH!!
Today is my Dad’s birthday. Happy Birthday Dad!! He is 71 today and I hope he is having a great day. We are going to visit on Saturday for the big summer family birthday bash. Jeff’s birthday, my Dad’s and mine are all in July so my mom does one big BBQ every year at the end of the month to celebrate all of our birthday’s together. It is always a fun time with lots of good eating.
Well I have to get back to work.

I’ve been over here catching up and getting a few giggles along the way. I LOVE the "You wake them, you take them" comment! LOL That’s really a good one!
Hooray for getting out of the house alone with a friend! I always feel so weird when I do that though… I don’t feel like the same person if I’m not pushing a stroller, being weighed down by a backpack and a 30 lb. kid, etc. LOL
