The weather continues to be gorgeous!! I love this! After such a long winter that I thought would never end, I dare think it’s actually over. Should I knock on wood? LOL

Well today was not a bad Monday overall. I did my routines last night per Flylady and the house was very neat this morning when I got up and I felt really good. I don’t do Flylady’s routines, I do my own. I have simply made a list of what needs to be done in what order ever night in order for the house to be picked up when I go to bed and all of the necessary things actually getting done.

As for Flylady, I don’t think it can work for everyone, but the foundation of it works for me. I am exactly as she describes on the website. I have clutter everywhere in my house, I always know the zillion things I have to do each day but as soon as I lose my place, so to speak, I run around frazzled for the rest of the day not knowing what needs to be done next or at all anymore for that matter. To be honest I just felt like a total loser until I heard about Flylady and got her book. Everything clicked for me. Stuff about perfectionism and not being able to break a job down into pieces and holding onto everything “just in case”. If I declutter as often as I can and make sure to do the things I have written down each day, my house becomes much easier to maintain.

I’m sure there are a lot of you Born Organized people out there saying “DUH!” but for some of us it doesn’t come that easily. I know that growing up my mom did most everything so it “would be done the right way the first time” and if I was given any chores I usually had to do them over 2 or 3 times each because I didn’t get every speck off the carpet when I vacummed or I missed a micron or 2 of dirt off the front porch when I was sweeping. She would tell me to clean my room when it was already clean. See what’s become of me? LOL

Well nap time for the little darlings is almost over so I guess I’d better get snack ready.

    oh hon you sound like me! i know it has to be done but then i get side-tracked and cant remember what i was supposed to be doing, course when i get almost asleep then i remember lol
