My poor neglected blog

It is a rainy, windy day. Each morning I think I have to post in my blog and each morning the day just gets away from me before I know it :) I always enjoyed posting in my blog, it’s just a matter of finding the time to do it. Maybe I should make an appointment to post? LOL

We have been very busy. Halloween was wonderful, we had a lot of fun. I took the 2 older children trick-or-treating and Jeff stayed home with the 2 little girls and passed out candy. We were only out for about an hour and a half but each of the kids got a huge bag full of candy.

Jeff is sick with a lovely cold & cough and he is such a typical whiny man. LOL He doesn’t have any more sick days so he went to work today even though he felt crummy. He informed me as he was going out the door that he was going to feel much worse tonight he was sure of it. I laughed and told him of course he would if that was his attitude. LOL Men!!

Lauren had her well child checkup yesterday and she is continuing to grow like crazy. She is 31 1/4 inches long and she’s only 7 months old. She’s off the charts for her height. My pediatrician laughed when he saw the growth chart and said “Well Julie this tells us that basically there are no children Lauren’s age that are taller than she is.” LOL I don’t know where she gets it from I’m only 5′4″ and Jeff is only 5′11″. Maybe she’s just doing all of her growing early :)

I posted an entry recently in my weight loss blog and would love to have my friends go and visit Julie’s Journey. I have decided to keep the blogs separate but my weight loss journey has become such a big part of me now. I feel more healthy and active than I ever have in my life.

    hope hubby is feeling better now and not being too difficult ;) lol men never cease to amaze me, they’re supposed to be the strong ones, but somehow it always ends up being the women that are stronger lol
