At least that’s how I feel this afternoon. Usually most of the children sleep quite well at naptime so I can get a little break. I spend this time eating my lunch, updating my journals, reading some blogs and just chilling out and refueling. Some days though……

To give you guys a little background on my daycare I have 5 children enrolled in addition to my own. Their ages are 7 months, 3, 3, 4, 4 and then my own children are 9 months, 23 months, 3 and 7. So anyway the two babies have been taking turns squawking away over one thing or another. One baby keeps dropping her bottle and then crying even though I think she’s dropping it on purpose. LOL

Then my baby, Lauren was so brilliant as to stick her fingers far enough down her throat that she made herself throw up and it went all in her eyes (she was laying on her back on the floor). Then she’s screaming because there’s puke in her eyes and all I can think is “Bet you’re glad you stuck your fingers down there now aren’t you?” LOL

Lauren went from lying on the floor on her stomach to sitting up all by herself last night. I can’t tell you how much better it makes me feel to see her do things like that. I worry about her physical development a lot especially with her legs and I’m probably being paranoid. At almost 10 months old she still does not bear any weight on her legs to speak of. When you try and stand her on your lap she just goes all jellyfish-like. The Dr. tells me not to worry but my other 3 were pushing up on my lap right from the very beginning. I guess Lauren just has to be different - again. LOL

Well I best try t finish inhaling my lunch before another catastrophe strikes. For those of you in a deep freeze like we are here - stay warm!! And to the rest of you - be thankful you’re not frozen
