Oh Crappy Day
June 17, 2005 |
Yesterday sucked.
- I’m WAY behind on my work and no matter what I do it only seems to push me farther back
- My paycheck still didn’t arrive today - It’s 2 weeks late now - long story
- Olivia had to get 3 shots yesterday to update her immunizations - poor kid
- My grandson is in the hospital for the second time this week. “Severe respiratory distress” is the official reason. He has developed a serious asthma problem they believe as a result of allergies and can hardly breathe. It’s so hard to hear him pant and labor just to get enough air. He’s only 8 months old.
- I found another lump in my neck
So here’s hoping today will be a little better. I’m so sick of life being hard. God, fates, karma - whatever it is that’s controlling the flow of the universe - will you cut me some slack already?

Ouch!
For you, your grandson, and Olivia.
Sending good thoughts your way!
So sorry you’re having a crappy day, I hate it when it goes like this. Hope Olivia is all over her shots. Sending lots of prayers your way…
Yikes! Hope things improve for you very soon!
*hugs*
Hi honey. I have had you on my heart and mind for a while now. I saw you tagged me. I was glad to see ya again! (hug) I have been reading and playing catch up with your life. Geemanie crickets girl. I am so sorry you are going through this. I wish there was something I could do. Are you on any meds? Sometimes that is what it takes. I was on them for almost a year and let me tell you, I am a different person now. I think they, weight loss and prayer are the only things that helped me. I totally know where you are coming from. I know this is all words and does not help much but know that I ‘get’ you and that I am praying for you. Ok? Huge hugs, Moni
I know what you mean about getting behind in work. Then it seems as if you can never catch up again.
3 shots! Oh poor darling. We gained cooperation from one of our children by explaining the shots were full of “superheroes” that protected her body against bad guy illnesses. It worked. (socre one for mom!)
What do they suggest for your grandson? If they talk about getting rid of dust mites and such think Rainbow Vaccuum cleaner. From my understanding it is one of the best.
Re; the lump. I’m praying it isn’t a tumor again, just a swollen glad.
Hugs to you.
Hi jules! Hope things have gotten better since this post!
Hi Julie! Sorry to hear about all the yucky stuff going on right now. Do those lumps have anything to do with stress?
I was ROFL at the previous post… the car trip one. Don’tcha just love all those little kids questions? LOL Sounds like that little trip was good for you and Jeff, hard as it may have been. I hope the good continues to come from that trip for you!
Wishing for a little good luck to come your way soon…
My condolences on the crappiness. I had to comment when I saw that your 8 month old grandson is having asthma problems. My son was 8 months old when his asthma started acting up. We didn’t know he had asthma and the doctors wouldn’t admit it was asthma, so we were in the dark for a long time not knowing why our son kept getting so sick every 3 weeks.
Rachel Ann is right about the dust mites and the rainbow vacuum cleaner. Get rid of all the sources of dust if that is his trigger.
I would imagine you are rather water wrinkley right now…
