Self Absorbed

:cldrain3: It’s been rainy and dismal the last few days and we are in the midst of Spring Vacation also. For me that usually means more children over the age of 5 than under. And the volume increases tenfold. And so does the fighting. And nastiness.

When I haven’t been refereeing I’ve been working on redesigning my daycare website. In fact it’s consumed every spare moment I’ve had :) I love designing to begin with but the web set I decided to use for the Child Care site is just so fitting. I’ve uploaded it since my ad in the newspaper goes out this week and I put my url in the ad. There are a few links still not “hooked up” but for the most part I’m happy with it.

If you’re interested in checking it out you can go to Great Valley Daycare and see it. Leave a message in the Guest Book or email and let me know what you think. I’m very receptive to constructive criticism. If you’re a parent let me know what you would think if you were a prospective parent looking for childcare. Tell me what you like, tell me what you think is missing. As I said constructive feedback is always appreciated.

I’ve been putting a lot of time and energy into my daycare and the kids love all the busy work we are into again. We all love doing all of these projects and experiments and skill builders and before we know it it’s time to go outside then eat lunch and *bam* the day is half over. I feel so good about what I’m doing with the kids. My house is a wreck and my brain is fried but it’s good :) Feels more like work again. The way it should.

    It looks great Jules! The only thing I saw that I wanted to point out was under the What we did today section. I wonder if you should be very clear that you will NOT be posting any pictures of the children?
    Some parents might get worried about that.
