They are retired

3) What is the most important lesson that you learned from your parents?
To always be there for family no matter what

4) What is the harshest discipline that you ever received from your parents?
Getting kicked out of the house

5) What is the thing that you are the most grateful to your parents for?
For teaching me to be strong and independent

Sunday Brunch - Fun In The Sun

1. Do you prefer the beach or a pool?
I prefer the beach at the ocean - I’m not too fond of lakes and ponds

2. What kind of tan are you most likely to get during the summer… a beautiful, bronze, laying out in the sun for hours tan; a gradual, few minutes a day tan; a “farmer tan” from working outdoors; or do you just get as red as a lobster and peel the next day?
If I get a tan at all it’s a “farmer tan” as I don’t lie out in the sun at all. Mostly I just burn and peel.

3. Which summertime water activity are you more likely to enjoy the most… boating, jet skiing, waterskiing, swimming or floating down a lazy river on a tube?
We all love to swim and one of our favorite things to do in the summer is take the boat out and go tubing. The way that tube whips around and bounces all over the water is so much fun. It gets us laughing hysterically every time :)

4. What is your favorite picnic food?
Pasta Salad and corn on the cob

5. Do you know how to cook on a barbeque grill?
Yes, I only learned a couple of years ago but we grill all summer long and I not only love the flavor of the food but I also love that there’s no mess in the kitchen to speak of.

:sun2-ani: The sun is shining brightly today and I get to bring 5 eight year old boys to Pizza Hut and the movies today. *sigh* Maybe I’ll get to enjoy the nice weather some other day. LOL

I Don’t Wanna Grow Up

1. Do you watch cartoons?
Not by my own choice

2. Ever buy a box of cereal (for yourself) just for the prize inside?
No, my cereal doesn’t come with prizes :)

3. Do you ever go to the playground to play on the swings, slide or teeter totter?
Not by myself, but I do play while I’m there with my kids

4. Do you occasionally pout, throw tantrums or cry to get what you want?
Whatever it takes ;)

5. How long has it been since you’ve done childlike activities (for example: ride a bike, play marbles, jump rope, build a sand castle)?
I was playing video games last week - does that count? Bike riding, playing at the beach, going on rides at the amusement parks were all activities from last summer.
