Well tomorrow is my last day before my vacation starts and let me tell you these kids are making me earn it. They are all so grumpy today it’s not even funny. One child came in upset with their parent this morning because they weren’t allowed to eat Cheetos before they came to my house. That’s probably because this same child came in at 8am eating a brownie yesterday. Well you better believe I spoke right up (I am such a big mouth LOL) and said “A brownie?? Those aren’t for breakfast you silly.” And the child smiled up at me and said “Yes” and all I can think is “well that’s probably what you have at your house, whatever you want”. But Dad stood firm today, thank goodness.

My stepdaughter is supposed to come down for a visit today and I hope she shows up. She may not, you never know. That’s just how she is. 19 years old and all is about her. *sigh* Hopefully she will grow up someday.

I signed up for Warren Lane Tutorials yesterday. I haven’t tried my hand at anything yet but as I’m reading I’m thinking “Hey, I CAN do this”. Feels kind of good, I can’t wait to get started. Looks like my vacation week is going to be mostly thunderstorms so I think I’ll have a lot of time to play.

My homework will be up later tonight. I’ll post over at Darylynn’s when it’s done.
