Well I went to the Dr’s the other night and he seems to think that if I don’t modify my work on the computer and other fine motor activities then I will have to have surgrey on my hand. I said I couldn’t modify much as it was work and I needed the money and he said I should cut back and I told him I just can’t, I have 4 children to help support. He gave me a muscle relaxant for my thumb as the spasms are getting worse now even with the brace. I just don’t understand how it can come out of the blue like this. I had trouble a long time ago but it went away. Why now? I don’t understand.

I have to say Jeff was pretty wonderful and supportive, he really can surprise me sometimes, and he told me to quit my scheduling job so that I can continue to enjoy the computer. He said “think of all the time you will have to do things you want on the computer instead of things you have to.” It was a convincing argument but it’s hard to let go. He really does understand that I am a computer geek (LOL) and can’t ever give it up so now he’s urging me to give up the work stuff to enjoy the fun stuff. Huh?!?! Cool!! We’ll see.

Well, I do still have the job so I need to go do some work now. Oh and I wanted to share a picture of my poppies. Last year with the drought we didn’t get any blooms, the years before we only got one but this year…

    Hey, that’s pretty sweet of Jeff to let you quit the not fun stuff and keep the fun stuff!! Your poppies are gorgeous! We had those at our other house. Someone had planted them years before and they came up well every year for us!
