I don’t have a lot of that precious stuff called time right now but I wanted to pop in real quick and update on my job. I like it so far, very much. They sent me a big bouquet of flowers on my first day welcoming me to the office. The staff is very nice and helpful. The way things are run - I’m left a tape with all my “assignments” dictated to me and I tackle them from there, independently, just asking questions as I go. My way of learning for sure. The real test comes today as the attorney I’m working for will actually be in the office for the first time this week. So we’ll see how I feel tonight

The kids are doing pretty well. As I expected it’s been easier for them since they get to stay home and their life has been disrupted as little as possible. There have been some adjustments to having someone else in my home throughout the day responsible for the kids and their mess. It’s going to take time for all of us to work out the kinks. I may have to lower my expectations some. Not that they are too high or anything. LOL

Jeff is doing okay but it’s a tough week to judge. He’s had to be in to work by 5am all week so he’s been a little tired and cranky. He doesn’t deal so well with change but he’s trying. A little. He cooked supper both nights so that’s a good start for me.

My best friend and I are going to have lunch together today. Since I’m still poor we’ll be brown bagging it and eating in the park. But the important part is seeing her. She’s moving next year and I want to spend time with her as much as I can.
