I am totally enjoying reading peoples homework! What awesome memories of summer when we were kids. I also see that most of you as kids enjoyed the same freedoms I did as far as playing outside all day and into the night and lament right along with me those days gone by.
I am having one of those totally overwhelmed, can’t seem to get anything done kind of days and I hate them! I can’t seem to get anything picked up because the kids are just wild these last few days and if I divert my attention even for a few moments someone’s getting hurt or breaking something. It’s not like I’m trying to do any major housekeeping or anything just pick up the kids lunch dishes. I hate feeling like I can’t even turn my back on them for a second. Something somewhere has just got to give.
We got some exciting news and sad news all at once related to my daycare families yesterday and today. One of the daycare children’s mother had a beautiful baby yesterday and another of the daycare children lost his grandmother last night. Please anyone that reads this, say a prayer for both families.
Well I suppose I better go try and tackle some of the disaster I call home. LOL
Until next time…
