We Are On The Mend
December 31, 2003 |
I actually got a full night’s sleep last night. Not one of the girls woke up. I felt panicked this morning when I did wake up thinking something had happened because no one cried all night long but a quick check and everyone was snoring away. LOL
This has been the worst illness season for us by far. It makes it more difficult for us with the daycare because it is that many more germs in the house. I figure though that my children’s immunity will be built up plenty by the time they get to school and they won’t be out as much. That is the other side of illness also. If my kids don’t get these things now they will just bring them home from school in a few years anyway so why not just get them out of the way.
I have been so busy with being nursemaid that I didn’t even realize that today is New Year’s Eve. Jeff asked me what we were doing for dinner tonight and I said “I don’t know - probably fajitas or something.” He said “For New Year’s Eve?” WE usually do an appetizer for dinner type meal on this evening as we watch the festivities in Times Square. So I said “I guess I’m going to the store after the kids go home today.” LOL I just plain forgot
Kids have a way of sucking the brain right out of your head, I swear.
Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe New Year’s Eve and that all of your dreams and wishes for 2004 will come true. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
