What a Weekend
Well I did it, I bought a minivan. LOL I am now a proud, card carrying member of the suburban mom, minivan driving set. I really never thought I would see the day. It’s a nice van though. I bought a 2003 Windstar and was able to take it right off the lot yesterday after we spent over 4 hours at the dealership!! Not a fun place for 4 kids for that long even with a lounge with TV and toys. Here’s a picture:
I got a really good deal though. I got almost $3000 off the sticker price and they gave me $1000 more for my car than I had wanted. I had looked up my car’s value at Kelly Blue Book and NADA and the max I found through them was $750 less than what the dealership gave me. My car had super low mileage though and it was in excellent shape.
That took up all of my Saturday and today I have been trying to catch up on what I didn’t do yesterday. I did get the house cleaned up but none of the laundry done or any of my mystery shop scheduling done. I’m in a little trouble there since the end of the quarter is upon us but what are you going to do? Lauren has been sick with a cold for a week now and she just wants to be held so I’m happy to oblige her. In fact she’s sitting on my lap right now making typing very challenging. LOL
Well, I’ve gotta get to some more catch up work. Have a wonderful evening my friends!!

Hi Julie!! Oh wow!! Your new minivan is pretty!! I love it!!
LoriI hope Lauren feels better soon!! Have a nice week!! ((BIG HUGS))!!

Oh Julie, it’s very pretty!! I think you’ll enjoy all the room now for sure. We use a free standing wood burning stove too alot during the winter. We have a heat pump, but it goes to propane when it gets really low so the wood stove helps alot there. Only we have to buy our firewood.. Would your dad come to oklahoma? hehehehe.. Love ya! ~hugs~

WHOOHOO!! Congrats on the new van! I always thought… "There is NO WAY I’ll ever want to drive a van…" but then I became a Mom and well, vans are just the best things for Moms! *Ü* We have a Dodge Grand Caravan — LOVE IT!!
